Tights care guide
Before wearing, we recommend giving your tights a gentle stretch
Lightly stretching the fabric helps activate the yarn, allowing it to move more freely and sit more comfortably on the body. Simply hold the foot of one leg and the upper section, and ease them apart with a soft, even pull.
It’s a small step that helps your tights feel better from the first wear — and supports their shape over time. We suggest repeating this after each wash.
Take your time..... one leg at a time
How you put your tights on makes a big difference to how they wear. Instead of pulling them up in one go, gently gather the fabric and roll them on gradually, starting from the toes and working your way up.
Begin by scrunching one leg down, placing your foot in, and slowly easing the fabric up to your knee. Repeat on the other side, then continue working the tights up over your thighs and hips, smoothing as you go.
Taking this slower, more considered approach helps distribute the fabric evenly and reduces unnecessary strain — so your tights feel better and last longer.
Always adjust from the base, not from the middle
If the fabric feels uneven or slightly gathered in one area, it’s best to take a moment to remove your tights and start again, easing them on from the base with a more even distribution.
Trying to pull or shift the fabric upwards in sections can place unnecessary strain on the yarn and increase the chance of snags. Instead, always work from the foot upwards, allowing the tights to sit smoothly and naturally across the body.
A little extra care here helps maintain both the look and longevity of your pair.
Wash only when needed
To keep your tights looking and feeling their best, we recommend washing them only when necessary. A gentle hand wash in cold water every few wears helps remove natural build-up while preserving the softness and structure of the yarn.
If using a washing machine, choose a delicate cycle at 30°C and place your tights in a mesh garment bag. Keep them separate from items with zips, hooks, or heavier fabrics to avoid snags.
A little extra care in washing helps extend the life of your tights, so they continue to wear beautifully, time and time again.
